From the winery:
The 2012 Wm. Harrison Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is made from two of the three Cabernet Sauvignon blocks grown on our Rutherford estate. The majority of this wine is made from our South Cabernet Sauvignon block and is blended with some of the North block Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. This wine’s aroma is heavily cherry oriented with sprinklings of red and black currant, bay leaf and strawberry preserve. Flavors on the palate are of dried cherry, fruit leather, and thistle. The strong structure is very apparent on the front palate and moves to a textured mid and back palate, with a long finish. Our estate Cabernet Sauvignon is a model of clone 7 Cabernet Sauvignon’s potential in the Rutherford District of the Napa Valley.
Blend: 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Merlot , 5% Petit Verdot
